Mrs. Bielen’s Prek-4 class at
the Academy of the Most Blessed Sacrament recently participated in an apple
cider making program at the Lorrimer Sanctuary located on Ewing Avenue in
Franklin Lakes. The program, presented
by Sanctuary Director Patrick Scheuer, taught our young Johnny Appleseeds how
apples are grown, picked and then turned into apple cider using an old
fashioned apple cider press
