Religion:

In  preparation for their participation in this week's liturgy, the students will focus on the parts of the Mass.  Prayers : The Lord’s Prayer, Hail Mary, Grace Before and After Meals, Act of Contrition, St. Francis Peace Prayer

Reading/Language Arts:

Book 1.5 Unit 1 will focus on the following skills as well as weekly vocabulary and spelling words.

•  Long vowels
• Inflectional Ending - ing
• Make Predictions
• Draw Conclusions

Math:

In Chapter 8 children will recognize the value of coins, count on to find the value of group of coins, tell and write time to the half hour and hour, and solve problems bt reading a schedule.

IXL Math: Telling Time Skills "R2" Reading Clocks, "R3" Match Clocks and Time, "R5" Match Analog and Digital Time


Science:

Unit C focuses on the sky and weather. 

Lab Activities:

• What can you see in the dark? 
• Sun and Earth in motion
• Make a Star Picture (constellations)
• Air observations
• Weather calendars
• Season sorting
• Why do we have day and night?

Social Studies:

Unit 2 focuses on what makes a good citizen, rules and laws. and songs and symbols that celbrate our country.
