We are pleased to announce that Mr. K’s
6th Grade Math Classes received FIRST PRIZE in the NY Rangers Math
MVPs @powertolearn.com program. Mr. K
and his classes won the MOST-SPIRITED
contest and are being rewarded with a visit from the Rangers Road Tour and
Street Team this spring.
Competition for the award was intense. More than 100 schools are enrolled in the
program and 22 schools participated in the contest. The Rangers Math program
consists of 3 math units (graphing, travel and logic) and real time Rangers
statistics are used to teach the concepts.
